Aims of the Three-Day Course

This course has been designed for experienced users of Visual Basic and emphasizes the Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) as it is deployed through the Transaction Server (MTS). The course is 100% hands-on, with exercises to help delegates practice the new skills they learn.

Prerequisites

Trainees should have attended the Visual Basic Introduction, or equivalent course, and have some knowledge of Distributed Applications Design and Development. Trainees should also be able to work with a database (preferably SQL) and use the Windows NT operating system.

Course Duration

Eighteen hours - 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm on each day.
