Introduction to Internet Explorer

Aims of the Half-Day Course

This course has been designed for either novices or recent users of the Internet. After participating on this course, delegates will have the basic skills they need to access the Internet, find information on the Internet and access a web site using site addresses. The course is 100% hands-on, with exercises to help delegates practice the new skills they learn.

  • Using Microsoft Internet Explorer
    • Using Search Engines
    • Using URL’s (web addresses)
    • Using Favourites
    • Using Links
    • Using History
    • How to access several sites at once

  • Internet Security

    • Your organisation’s Security Policy

Prerequisites

Delegates should have experience of using Windows software. Delegates are also assumed to have basic keyboard and mouse skills.

Course Duration

Three hours (9.30am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm).
