Adobe Illustrator Introductory Outline

Aims of the One-Day Course

This course is suitable for new users who wish to create illustrations using Illustrator. At the end of this course trainees will be able to use Illustrator’s various palettes, create and modify paths, draw and edit objects, use layers to manage complex illustrations, enter and format text in an illustration and prepare Illustrator files for print and Web use. The course is 100% hands-on, with exercises to help the trainees practice the new skills they learn.

Prerequisites

No previous experience of using Adobe Illustrator is necessary, although keyboard and mouse experience is assumed. Familiarity with the use of Mac or Windows software is essential.

Course Duration

Six hours (9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm).
